Party Like It’s 1969
Dust off those Coachella outfits (yeah, they’re pretty dusty) and roll up to the Topanga County Fair from May 26th-28th. Embrace Mother Earth and all things Bohemian as you enjoy the local culture through music, food and art. No pets are allowed, but you definitely can and should bring along your spirit animal! Find tickets here.
Leave your laptop at home and immerse yourself in the thriving zine culture with L.A. Zine Fest at the Pasadena Convention Center on May 27th. Flip through work ranging from art and poetry to education and politics, made by local and not-so-local creatives. Make sure you catch some of the free readings and workshops–you’re bound to leave inspired! Find out more through their website.
Santa Monica knows how to party and May 27th is no exception. Make your way over to Main Street and play interactive Monopoly. . . with a catch. All “MAINopoly money” can be redeemed for food tastings at the local restaurants, with proceeds benefiting a slew of good causes! Find tickets here.
On Saturday, May 26th, Eat Drink Vegan is setting up shop at the famous Rose Bowl. With over 75 breweries, wine, and kombucha vendors, you’re sure to find a new local favorite while you munch on some PETA-approved grub! Find tickets here.
