Do you frequent the same LA hangouts as modern soul vixen Cairo Gold? The motorcycle riding, former weed hustler turned songstress could very well be the “L.A. Woman” Jim Morrison warned us about. She first picked up a guitar in 2012, while living near Venice Beach. Logging countless gigs around Los Angeles and recording demos, she cut her teeth and developed a powerful presence. In between, producers and music supervisors sought her out for session work. 2018 is going to be a big year for this singer-songwriter!
Last month we teamed up with Cairo Gold to bring her fans free parking during her EP release party at The Sayer’s Club in Hollywood. We caught up with her again recently to find out her favorite LA hangouts both in and around Hollywood. Here’s what she had to say!
With its beautiful artistic crowd and ambiance, it’s my absolute favorite rooftop lounge, pool and staycation spot in LA. I always leave feeling inspired. It’s magic!
2. Olympic Spa
This little women-only spa is an absolute gem. I go here when I need to unplug from everything. Their holistic remedies, treatments and café are heavenly!
Live music, loved ones and a picnic under the stars? I can’t think of anything better.
4. Modo Yoga
La Brea, Marina Del Rey, Echo Park
The sweatiest, hottest yoga in LA. It’s so good for the mind, body and spirit! It’s the perfect workout for me, and between the three locations, it’s pretty conveniently located in the city.
This is one of my happy places. Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had, the kindest servers and owners, a full bar and the coolest vibe and decor. Plus, they have incredible veggie options. I’m vegetarian, so I love that.
